Dina Meyer is a New York native who was raised in Forest Hills Queens. She made the move from Queens to Dix Hills Long Island just after she completed her high school junior year. She is the younger sister of Gregory as well as an older brother called Evan. She began her career in entertainment when she was 9 years old, and began modeling. Ron Stetson was her teacher at The Neighborhood Playhouse where she was studying the acting of Sanford Meisner methods for about three years. Sandra Bullock was among those who studied by this method, as well as Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum Leslie Nielsen and Diane Keaton. The first film she appeared in was Beverly Hills 90210 which forced her to make the move to Los Angeles. After a couple of months, she was offered the part of Johnny Mnemonic. For this movie, she was responsible for almost all the stunts and proved herself to be an excellent actress. Her agent was Matt LeBlanc, so through her agent for talent, she was able to land a regular role in the show Friends.
