
After having completed his Wharton MBA at McKinsey &Co, Sundar Pichai began his career at McKinsey &Co. In 2004, he was offered the opportunity to join Google. Pichai's Google venture started as the President of Product Management, he was initially asked to enhance the experience for users of this Google search toolbar, which can be utilized through Firefox as well as Internet Explorer. Additionally, he was working on a range of Google products like Google Pack, Gadgets, Google Gears, and many others. Then came the turning point in Sundar's Google adventure, when his involvement with Google began. Google's own web browser, Chrome. 2008. 2008 was a memorable year for Google, as it saw the Chrome browser debut and Pichai was promoted to Vice President for Product Management and Development. Pichai was elevated to the rank of Senior Vice President, and then promoted to Product Chief Officer of Google, as well as the Android Smartphone Operating System.
