The debut single by Beer with the melismatic and poppy "Melodies," was released late in 2013. She released her solo debut album As She Pleases in the year of 2018. The single "Home with You" landed in the Top 30 in Norway, while the album landed in the top part of the Billboard 200. That same year, Beer issued the non-album single "Hurts Like Hell" featuring Offset.
